Hats off Aamir

You know if you had read my earlier post about Indian movies you would know how much I despise them.

But there is a revolution starting isn't it??

Lets put things into perspective. There has been a change from the usual damsel in distress and the untouchable unkillable hero approach to something realistic.

Saying that do check out this movie called "Dulha Mil Gaya". There is only one word that can be used to describe it. CRAP!!

But also do watch this movie called the 3 idiots. Well, it is slightly exaggerated but only slightly. And the best part is it has a lot to do with reality. It has a lot to do with what's going on in your and my lives. Call it plagarised or not (thats another debate), thats the kinda movie that people want to watch.

And it's a movie with a message.
The reason I say that a change is happening in Indian cinema is because this was not a one off movie.

Following Rang De Basanti and Taare Zameen Par, 3 Idiots has been the 3rd straight movie from Aamir which has mesmerized audiences, and hit the nail on the head when it comes to sending out a message. And they've all been innovative.

I really do hope the rest of the industry takes a leaf out of Aamir's book, cuz then Aal will be well.
